"Shoulder injury treatment after attack"

About: Accrington Victoria Hospital

I have recently began treatment with possibly one of the best physiotherapists I could ever wish for. She completely understands my injury, moreover shows interest in my overall well-being alongside fitness plans. It’s so good to be getting treatment from someone who respects my medical conditions and appreciates various things in my life that I would not want to give up due to my injury. I think I am making great progress with my shoulder , via band excercises and strengthening techniques. I wasn’t expecting this kind of treatment at all, so glad I’ve not been sent to any groups too, because I feel that they could be bad for my anxiety. I rarely write reviews but feel that this ones required, I’ve paid to see chiropractors, massage professionals etc and never once felt so understood furthermore made this much progress since my attack.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent visit to the Physiotherapy Department at Accrington Victoria Hospital for shoulder injury treatment.

It is lovely to receive such positive feedback regarding the care and service you received during your treatment and we are delighted to pass this on to the staff who will very much appreciate your comments as they always strive to deliver safe, personal & effective care.

If you would like to provide us with further information about your experience including the name of the physiotherapist then we would really value this so that we can try to make it like this for every patient visiting our hospitals and using our services.

You can either contact me (Sarah Ridehalgh) on 01254 734471 or by email at patientexperience@elht.nhs.uk.

Thank you again for commenting and best wishes.
