I dread booking an appointment for both myself and my 2 year old son because the wait times are excruciating. It wouldn't be so bad if the receptionist gave a more realistic waiting time, however, they usually say it's running '10-15 mins behind', which really means 30-45 mins. If it's an appointment for my son, it's hard work keeping him entertained (with the minimal toys you have) when there's a delay of over half an hour (which is not uncommon), and if it's an appointment for myself, the delays cause issues with my working life, as a routine hour away from the desk can easily and usually turn into a couple hours by the time I'm seen and travel back to work. The whole appointment process needs to be looked at as it's coming to a point I'd rather suffer with a health issue over booking a Drs appointment.
