"Long term satisfaction"

I have been a patient at this surgery for more than 30 years. During this time I have been treated with respect, dignity and a desire by doctors, nurses and admin staff to assist me in my healthcare. Sometimes it is being able to connect with my GP directly, or if this is not possible to be seen by someone else. In other words, a real desire to help by every member of the team. It is not always possible to see my GP immediately but an alternative doctor or nurse has always been offered if an urgent matter. For more trivial matters there are excellent triage and admin staff who can usually offer advice and support, often speaking to the GP on my behalf. I have never been let down. The thing that stands out for me is the fact that everyone at the practice has a desire to help the patients.

My own GP has cared for me over many years and has treated me through many ailments with the same care and attention, empathy and understanding. She is always willing to listen whether major or trivial and I feel confident in her care. The nursing team is excellent, there are many nurses at the practice. I have been treated by most of them over the years and they have all shown me the same respect and care and a genuine desire for my health to improve.

I had a leg ulcer recently and they were all so pleased to see improvement week on week. The secretaries and reception staff are always helpful. In 30 years I have never had cause to complain about any part of my treatment and I think this is a practice that is hard to beat. I hope that this review will also serve as a thanks to all at Abbey house for the excellent job they do. I have also been treated at

Monksfield, part off the group and often some of the same nurses. All of the above applies to them too.
