I was directed from my GP to the Finchley memorial walk in clinic for a wound check. The moment I arrived, before I even say why I was there, the first thing the receptionist told me is that they have a 4 hour wait.
The funny thing is that I see many other reviews that people seem happy with the service they had despite the fact that they waited for hours. Since when waiting for 4+ hours for something that needs 10min has become the norm and people accept it?
Four hours waiting plus 1 hour to get there an home, means that I will lose a full working day. Can you calculate the cost of losing a full working day for something that needs a 10min consultation? That is terrible and ineffective service considering the tax we are paying to the NHS .
