"Prescription or lack of"

About: Primrose Medical Practice

I have just opened my prescription bag and find I only have insulin! The surgery only allows me to have enough needle tips for the month with nothing for emergencies. Well guess what they have failed on my prescription and now I can only drink the insulin! It's Saturday night, what am I supposed to do between now and Monday? Phone an ambulance when I'm close to passing out!!

Is that really the best use of NHS resources?

If there is a case here for medical negligence then I will seek the strongest sanctions possible!

We are sorry to hear you didn't receive your needles for the insulin.

If you contact the practice directly we can look into this to see why this happened and rectify so that it doesn't happen in future.

If at any time you find you are out of medication for one reason or another and the practice is closed you can always contact NHS 111 who will provide you with a prescription.
