"Disappointed"

About: Hospital Of St Cross / Accident and emergency

This is the second time I go to urgent day care, and they tell me that they cannot do nothing about it.

Which leaves me really frustrated, as both times in a lot of pain.

First time it was regarding bladder pain.

,This time I have been suffering from heartburn, I feel my chest and belly burning, gaviscon doesn't help.

As usual they said that could not do nothing about it, not even recommend any medicine apart from gaviscon, what left me really disappointed it was when I asked what could I eat, because whenever I eat the pain is even worst, and today I only ate bread and butter, the nurse said she didn't know, how come????

It was like ' Google it'

In the end the nurse asked if I wanted to wait for another assistants or just leave. I said I want to wait.

After waiting for while I had to ask when I was going to be seen by one of the assistants, she said I had to wait another half an hour, when I was there waiting for while. So I just decided to leave.

I am not coming back again ever.

They say nurses cannot do anything.

Not even was able to advise me what could I eat.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on NHS Choices about the Rugby Urgent Care Centre at the Hospital of St Cross. I was disappointed to hear about your experience, and would like to apologise.

I will pass on your comments to the team that manages the centre. If you would like to discuss your care with someone, you can contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team on feedback@uhcw.nhs.uk or on 0800 028 4203 so they can look into your concerns in more detail.

I would also recommend speaking to your GP about the heartburn you have been suffering.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we appreciate all comments both positive and negative, as it helps us to better understand our patients’ needs and to continually improve.
