Firstly you can never ever get through on the phone for an appointment, you can if you wait 30 mins after which they are all gone.

The online booking system is a joke as there are only 2 or 3 appts available.

There are no appts up to 20.00 or weekend appts on offer.

Diabetic care is sub standard. Other surgeries in other areas recognise that Insulin dependant diabetics are prone to a deficiency of B Complexes and prescribe them for their patients. This surgery refuses to do so.

Similarly if you have a Vitamin D deficiency they will not prescribe supplements.

Since Nov 2017 the NHS has made diabetic flash monitoring available up and down the country on prescription yet this surgery steadfastly refuses to prescribe to their patients citing costs etc

Diabetics at this surgery are getting a raw deal compared to other NHS areas.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties getting through the telephone lines and also that there are not enough online appointments available. The number of appointments offered online are apportioned based on the number of patients using this service. This is reviewed regularly and increased. Unfortunately we no longer offer weekend and evening appointments at the Surgery. The CCG have decided to provide this service from Bharani Medical Centre. Appointments can only be booked through the Langley Health Centre appointment line. The practice follows the prescribing guidelines provided by the CCG medicines optimisation team. For further information please contact the practice manager.
