"A&E"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Accident and emergency

I went to the A&E department with a painful chest after a fall and was treated almost straight away given blood pressure and blood test then an ECG after a very short wait a doctor saw to me then an x-ray doctor wanted another x-ray and after a while said I had a small fracture and gave me painkillers. All the staff were friendly and efficient and from the time I arrived to the time I left was just about 3 hours which I thought was quick given some of the bad comments the QA gets a very pleasant experience well done to all the staff and thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I will of course pass your kind words onto the Teams involved in your care as I am sure they will be delighted to receive them.

With best wishes

Lisa
