"Amazing care on Hexworthy ward"

Following an extended stay on Hexworthy ward due to severe asthma I have nothing but praise for all the staff involved in my care.

The doctors kept me fully involved in the decision making regarding my care, the nurses were knowledgeable and very supportive and the HCAs were incredibly caring and kind.

Every member of staff, despite being really stretched and busy, were always really friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay as stress-free and comfortable as possible.

During my stay I had numerous tests and scans.

Again the porters and staff in xray, CT scanner, vascular access and those taking daily bloods were really polite, caring and considerate.

The catering staff were really helpful and the cleaners very visible and not intrusive.

A huge thank you to everyone in Derriford Hospital who helped me get back on my feet and back home, I really appreciate all your specialist help and support!
