"minor op by plastic surgery nurse practitioner"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Plastic Surgery & Burns

(as a service user),

arrived at appointed time and sat for a few minutes before i was called from the waiting area for an apology that the nurse was running 15 minutes late - she offered that i could go for a coffee and she would come and get me when she was ready, this was much appreciated but i declined and was happy to continue to wait in the waiting area. after a short time i was called to the treatment area and introduced to all staff who would be involved in my treatment including a student nurse who was into her 2nd year of training - all were very pleasant and welcoming. all aspects of my treatment were fully explained with plenty of time given to ask questions. the treatment was carried out very efficiently with some nice chat to keep me well relaxed and informed of every step of the proceedure . all after care was fully explained too.

this was as pleasant an experience as they could have made for me.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback regarding your experience in our service. I would like to apologise again for the delay in your allotted appointment time, but glad you were offered an explanation by the staff.

I will share your kind and positive comments with Pauline, Deborah and Jess, the staff members involved in your care.

We wish you well in your recovery.

Kind regards

Lynn
