"Emergency admission with 89 year old father"

About: Northern General Hospital

Following an incident this week my elderly father was admitted by ambulance to the Northern General .The para medics were fantastic with him . He was very confused and they dealt with him with great compassion.

His experience in the very busy A&E unit was exemplary the care he was given was brilliant.

He was then admitted to the frailty ward and again the staff nursed his very challenging behaviour with great skill and respect.

He is currently a patient on Brearley 5 and again the care he is receiving is first class.

This is a very trying time for us and we are so grateful for the care he is receiving

Thank you for leaving feedback and we are really sorry to learn your father has needed a hospital admission. Your positive words will really mean a great deal to the staff concerned who do strive to provide high quality care and treatment. They will be really encouraged by receiving this.

With thanks and all best wishes to your father
