"Empathic, friendly staff, efficient, helpful."

given how dangerous I felt towards others, and the fact that I was very poorly, the staff very possibly feeling threatened at first, by myself, I can only offer praise for how they dealt with me, they were efficient with me and strict (needed to be), then began trusting me as when I was well again they gave me a chance whilst I proved I’m not that violent, threatening, horrible woman when well. One gentleman who I got on the wrong side of, who had a lot of threats etc from me, when so poorly, even accepted my apology. The staff here have to balance their safety with the inpatients’ safety, compassion with firmness, and they have been helpful, courteous, seemingly forgiving, and some have been extra special. They know now that I am not the person I initially presented as and have allowed me to prove that ie they’ve given me a chance. They have an extremely difficult job, and they deserve so much respect, and a better wage. The stuff they have to deal with on a daily basis is very difficult to manage, yet manage it they do, and well. The heaps of thank you cards on their wall say it all.
