"too quick to discharge"

About: Tees, Esk And Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust

for once in my life i will be neutral.

2 weeks ago i was ambulance d into a&e in a suicidal state.i am known to mh services and had a good chat with the crisis team guy for a couple hours.i will explain it started with a 4 week downward spiral and i ended up ringing 111 for advise as id been told to and just wanted someone to take away the gas bottle i had set up(i got a police vistit for googleing suicide by cop a week before) and give me something to calm down.long story short ambulance turned up and persuaded me to go to a&e,police removed gas bottle ect..guy from crisis team is good and after long talk ect he said need meds review asap and poss a med the gp had stopped re introducing. thought great anything that will help ill take it no proble..agreed to go home.after a few hours and they nicely got me a taxi. after a week the letter came for the meds review..3 MONTHS!!! was still up and down and like a fool i didnt leave it i rang and said too long no good cancel it .ok my bad,wasnt/arnt in a good way but they know that, ive been with them since 2014 and they know me but they take the first opportunity to discharge u..not a crisis team said needed so lets see if we can bring it forward, lets ring u back next week and see how u feel then.i really feel i got a fob him off,a we know what he will do and we are rid of him back to the gp..i have a concern that since i was put on meds i didnt even get a yearly review its left to a gp who is not a mental health doctor.i apologise for being a bad patient,my condition as said by the consultant makes me that way but a little leway would be nice ive being taking my meds..i even joked with the crisis team guy u know im not settled theres a chance ill back out till i can get a grip, he said ill keep an eye on it dont worry..u know even a follow up phone call a couple of days after would have helped but i guess ur busy.i will add im on a court risk order implemented by the consultant ,i followed what he said to take,i didnt drop the med the crisis guy said put back it was the gp after all i did was ask for a different type as it gave me horrendous restless leg but he said oh drop it i dont really want u on it..my consultant is my mh doc..seems decisions are left to a gp playing at being a psych doc. im doing every thing i can to stay in control.my public protection officer wasnt impressed that after admitting i was contemplating suicide by cop then opting for plain suicide a meds review was going to be left 3 months.im moaning and didnt want to..ill try to see gp but all ill get is u seem ok now bye....a little leway isnt much to ask even for us terrible patients.i do respect my consultant i do listen, just takes time for my head to process it ur system works too fast.i want to say again a thanks to the crisis team guy(and the ambulance crew) for being nice,he remembered me and my problems and talked some sense into me.
