"Food and nursing/caring staff"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / Neurology

The food is basic which cheap high fatty ingredients. I have often not been offered food due to being asleep or lack of communication. Then for tea I was on the phone to the hubby and the staff claimed they asked me which was not the case I was then left with a choice a sandwich (I don't eat bread for dietary reasons) or a yoghurt.

The staff have poor observation skills and spend the majority of the time at the reception desk or wheeling about on swivel chairs and being noisy (night staff in particular) in between dealing with high priority patients.

Absolutely astounded especially when it is supposed to be a teaching hospital! I was kept in to be observed and not once have they picked on any issues I may have had or even asked (I withhold the issues I had for confidentiality reasons)

Very disappointed unfortunately considering it has a good reputation
