"Caring, calming and reassuring approach"

I attended the Endoscopy Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital earlier this week and understandably was feeling very apprehensive about the procedure.  I would like to thank the team for their very caring, calming and reassuring approach which made a rather unpleasant experience more bearable.  Being told exactly what was happening throughout the procedure made me much more at ease as did the relaxing tones of named nurse, Rachel!  A huge thank you to the' hand-holding nurse' too and of course, Julie as well as the other team members in the room who all conducted themselves professionally but with some humour to help distract and support me throughout. Many could learn a lot from your approach - thank you!
