"Accident and Emergency"

About: James Paget University Hospital / Accident and emergency

I unfortunately had to visit on a busy Sunday morning after cutting my leg on some glass and needing stitches. The receptionist apologised in advance about the waiting time, but to be honest I was expecting to be waiting for longer than we did, given the amount of people in there. I was called through to see the triage nurse quite quickly, then had a bit of a wait to see a doctor. There were lots of nurses and doctors on duty, all rushed off their feet, doing a brilliant job. When I was called in to see a doctor, he put me at ease and very quickly stitched my leg, then he apologised for rushing me in and out so quickly!

I was very satisfied with the treatment I recieved, and I think that nhs staff are all amazing and should be treated a lot better than they are.

Thanks Ali for taking the time to comment on the care that you received yesterday. I hope your leg isn't too sore. I will pass on your feedback to the team who will be really pleased to see it. Take care.
