It was my first experience of such a place. I had reached the end of my tether when I was transferred to Sandford Ward from A&E at Northwickpark in Harrow, London.
I have Autism from childhood and my siblings have always taken advantage of me. I also have polio in my right leg from age of 2. Also being of poor social skills I found I was with angels at this place. Two staff members were my special angels. I was made to feel totally at home and safe from society in general. Even the discomfort from a certain fellow patient was attended to by a Psychiatrist in a very kind way. The food too was good. I am a vegan and it was ordered specially for me. This is wonderful. shame I had to be moved after just 4 days but is was to be nearer my home town of Aylesbury. I still miss the staff there.
"Very good help to me"
