"God bless the NHS"

This was my first to the Beckenham Beacon and I could not be more satisifed.

I attended to check my ankle, which I had turned over.

I got there at 13.30 and was triaged, seen by a nurse, x-rayed and re-seen by the nurse to talk through the results, all within an hour and 15 minutes.

Everyone was very helpful and efficient and the clinic was very modern and clean.

My nurse was an Angel.

So kind, thoughtful and thorough.

She was a real credit to the NHS, as were the other staff.

We are so lucky to have such an amazing NHS, who do an incredible job, under unimaginable pressure, not least from savage cost-cutting.

Yet they still do such an incredible job, with such enthusiasm and professionalism. We must NEVER lose our wonderful NHS.

Sorry, I digress.

Back to the Beacon; I can not talk highly enough about them.

If you have a non-emergency, this is a great first port of call.

You will be in great hands and well looked after.

More importantly, you will take a little strain off A & E.
