"My consultant has been a tower of strength for me"

Today I made a visit to see my consultant about the difficulties I have with some damage to my brain.

I was checked in automatically and greeted by the nursing staff politely and in a helpful manner. I wait until I was called in a comfortable chair.

I attended my appointment with my consultant who was helpful, informative and gave me a solution which we both hope will work.

I find the potential for people and patients to complain far too high as the services they provide for the professionals are limited by restrictions placed on them by others.

The fact that we now have processes which allow lawyers to prosecute professional people who through no fault of theirs have to work with inadequate resources.

I want to make the case and say thank you to all the hospital staff for the help and care I have received and am confident I will have in the future.

As for my consultant, he is and has been a tower of strength for me and no amount of thanks would be enough for the help he has given me.
