"Absolutely terrible appointments when you get one"

I tried ringing the surgery 93 times the other morning before they picked up (it took 45 minutes from 8am) to be told there were no appointments. This appears to be the case whenever I try to book an appointment on the day. Now I have to book 2 weeks in advance and wait in pain for the time to pass.

Then when you get to the day, they are running sometimes up to an hour late and of 3 seperate doctors I have seen only one has actually been of any use. The other two could not get me back out of the door quickly enough. At one point the severe earache I was suffering was "probably down to allergies" so was told to take an over the counter anti-histamine... I miss my old surgery so much, the difference was night and day!

We are sorry you are not happy with the service received. We are always trying to improve our service which is difficult with anonymous posts. If you wish us to look at your issue in more detail please contact the Operations Manager (Clare Crawshaw). We are aware of issues with our telephone system and are upgrading it in June/July 2019.
