"Telephone goes unanswered 13.8.18"

About: Honiton Community Hospital

The receptionist at my wife's GP suggested she attend Honiton Minor Injuries Unit as she has damaged her knee and cannot walk.

According to the hospital's website X rays are possible at three sessions per week, but doesn't say when.

So, I telephone to enquire. No point in going if the X ray department is closed.

Phone goes unanswered until the automatic service intervenes and says, "The person you are calling is not answering.

Exiting the system. Goodbye"

That's not very helpful or informative.

Is "Leave a message". such a difficult option to add to the menu, or is the X ray department so unpredictable that times and days cannot be listed?

Should do better.
