About: University Hospital Wishaw / Cardiology (Ward 4)

(as the patient),

I had an appointment for an ECG at the hospital in July, the attention I received was first class. I was seen on time and everybody was so pleasant.

The only thing that was disappointing was the state of the toilets in the reception area, the floors were wet, there was tissue everywhere and it looked like 2 or 3 drops of blood on the floor.  Usually when I go to the hospital everywhere is clean.

Hi ophiuchuskm98,

I am pleased that you recieved first class attention while in the hospital for an ECG however, I am less pleased that you found our toilet area dissappointing. I am overall responsible for the cleaning of the hospital for Serco. We clean the toilets daily and spot check and clean them regularly (as you say, the hospital everywhere is clean, usually). Please be assured that if you experience anywhere in the hospital that is below our usual high standards, please alert either Serco staff, nursing staff or call 01698 361100 and report it. While we try and cover all bases, we rely on users of the hospital to help us by reporting issues so we can rectify them quickly. Thank you so much for letting me know about your visit.
