I tried to leave a review a few months ago - suprise suprise the PC brigade removed it.
Without using any strong language I felt this surgery was not suited at all especially with dealing with students , I went here with severe depression & my home doctor has dealt with that really well but when I was at the Portsmouth university I was made to sign up here - the doctor I saw was extremely patronising and I didn’t find him compassionate at all , especially for my condition and the receptionists are extremely rude , especially shouting on the phone and both the receptionist and the doctor were very robotic - I understand the need to be “professional” but there is a certain element of compassionate needed and a line between it - I tried to explain to the doctor about my condition and with me being a student he assumed I was a heavy drinker which is not the case at all - and I agree with the last survey made here too when they simply were like “what do you want us to do” mentality and when I explained my condition to the receptionist she asked if it was important enough to see a doctor - considering the implications I think I absolutely needed to see a doctor and I was just told to take some medicine which I had never even taken before overall a very upsetting experience.
"A very unfortunate experience"
