"A Derbyshire gem"

About: Buxton Hospital

After an accident in Castleton today, we were encouraged to go to the Minor Injuries Unit in Buxton. My 5 year old daughter had nasty cuts to her leg after falling down a steep hill and was extremely upset and in pain. The staff in the hospital were fantastic! So friendly, professional and caring. They talked to her in a calm and reassuring way, always explaining what they were going to do next and involving her in her care. I was so impressed with the unit, the staff and their manner and would like to pass on a huge 'Thankyou' to them all. All hospitals should be like this.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this excellent feedback about our Buxton Minor Injuries Unit.

I am pleased you and your daughter had a good experience.

We try our best to provide a high level of friendly and timely care and we are always encouraged when patients take the time to tell us how we did.

I will ensure the team are made aware of your comments and I hope your daughter is making a good recovery.

Kind regards
