"Waste of time"

Waited 7 long months to see a psychiatrist due to depression, anxiety and suicidal feelings resulting from suffering from a severe, debilitating physical illness and profound cognitive impairment of over 30 YEARS standing (not two decades as psychiatrist wrote in discharge letter to my GP (proof he neither listened it took my severe illness seriously), only to be discharged after one brief, rushed, session. Instead of listening to alI l said regarding the (almost total), social isolation, the unrelenting pain from the illness and other coexisting physical conditions, of not being able to have a family of indeed a life, he glibly, and patronisingly dismissed my mental state as being due to the fact my support worker was going to be away for a month and I would be left without support! Back in January when I was referred because of mental distress and inability to cope I didn't even know she was going away, nor did I the ensuing months when I felt desperate, alone and suicidal and called the crisis team several times BECAUSE OF THE IMPACT OF OVER 30 YEARS OF HELL LIVING WITH AN UNREMMITTING, PAINFUL, SOCIALLY ISOLATING ILLNESS THAT HAS ROBBED ME OF A LIFE, FAMILY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION. I have been let down yet again by a clinician who doesn't listen, doesn't understand my illness, or perhaps doesn't want to understand. I am taking this further and reporting it to the PALS and to NHS England.
