"Never an appointment for weeks!"

About: Newton Heath Medical Centre

Myself and my partner have never even used the GP surgery as there has never been appointments for weeks, so we give up hope.

I have also tried calling the past 3 mornings and am constantly greeted by an engaged tone.

When i first registered, i had to stand there whilst 2 rude reception staff had a conversation (non work related) in front of me until they ushered me forward.

It was like being at customs or passport control at the airport.

It really is disappointing to constantly have these long waits, especially as some people could be seriously unwell but don't want to feel a nuisance to the NHS.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with the service provided by the Practice.

Unfortunately our telephones lines are very busy in the mornings and we try to deal with phone calls as qucik as we can but some patients have complex queries which can take a little more time.

You can always book your appointments, order prescriptions or view test results on line, please visit our webiste for instructions on how to register.

Regarding your registration process this will be discussed at our next practice meeting, but if you wish discuss your concerns further please contact the Practice Manager
