"A Good Practice,working under stressful..."

I have to respond to the negative reviews about Practice 2.

I have been a patient at this practice for 25 years.

In the last two years, I have needed their help to assist me through my grief, when my wife died suddenly in hospital.

The Staff and my Doctor have been wonderful and I feel I have their support.

I am still struggling, but they are helping me to get there? Thank you.

To answer the critics of practice two.

I have seen the growth of patients waiting to see a Doctor. It is manic now at the surgery.

So much so, that all GP surgeries in Brid have stopped taking new patients!.

I am 71 and when I sit in the surgery waiting to see a Doctor, the majority of patients are my age, there are loads of us. All requiring medication or reviews.

It's great that we are living longer, but medication is playing its part in allowing us to live longer.

Therefore there is great stress on resources in the NHS, they cannot cope and that is not the local GPs fault!

So, don't blame our local Doctors and Staff. The cause of the problem is the lack of funding and a growing elderley population.

I know you can't please everyone, but spare a thought for these hard working Doctors.

I certainly wouldnt want their job..
