I am very surprised and concerned to learn about this. It is wrong that staff do not introduce themselves before delivering care and that such a basic step in communication was missing and very concerning that you were not asked for consent. I was very alarmed to hear that the tutor did not seem to be interested in your reports.

I shall ensure that the appropriate staff are made aware of these incidents in order that students and staff are reminded of the importance of introductions and gaining consent.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
