Admitted for second cataract removal and must compliment the treatment I received (it was the same the first time), by all staff from reception through to the staff dealing with day surgery. They were welcoming and in the case of the nursing staff, friendly, reassuring and professional. I know we are not supposed to mention names so initials will have to do: J and S, plus first year intern nurse from UWS. Thanks to you for caring for me.
The same for the theatre staff team - 'The A Team' - the only names I got were A and C (the latter should be doing stand-up; though she was always professional.).
And thanks to Dr L who did the procedure.
The whole experience was one of observing a total Esprit de Corps between and within the ward team and the theatre team. Only as a patient can you know how reassuring and comforting this is.
Best wishes to all of you (including waiting list team who arranged it.)
