"Professionalism and kindness"

About: Stonehouse Hospital University Hospital Hairmyres / Urology

(as a relative),

My 88 year old father spent the last seven weeks of his life in Hairmyes hospital firstly in ward 4 and then in ward 6 before being transferred to the Lockhart unit in Stonehouse.

The care he received in all three areas was carried out with dignity and compassion. We as a family would like to thank everyone involved in his care for their professionalism and the kindness that was shown to Jimmy and his family at this difficult time. The domestic, portering, nursing, radiology and phlebotomy and medical teams are a credit to the NHS and themselves.
