"Fantastic team of staff in the MRI department"

About: Royal Preston Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I had my 6th monthly repeat head MRI scan recently. I have been many times but I haven’t left feedback. This visit though I would like to like to. 

On arrival the reception staff are friendly. 

My health conditions have changed and I am now in a wheelchair. I am unable to stand or weight bear so I need the hoist to get me onto the bed. The staff that helped with this were brilliant. They were courteous and kept making sure I was ok. They explained what they were doing all the time. I was then taken into the scanner and was lifted again. I was made to feel safe and all the team were great. All made me feel like nothing was too much trouble. They were all caring and not one of them rushed me. I was there a long time but none of them minded.

The only name I remember is Pete. There was also a lady but I don’t remember her name, sorry. These two stayed with me from start to finish. I want to let them know that I really appreciated their help. I was treated with dignity and care. The NHS and staff get a lot of bad press. I wouldn’t be here today without the NHS. Thank you.

This is such a pleasure to read and we can assure you it will mean a lot to our hard working Radiology staff in the MRI department at Chorley.

We will ensure it is shared today with the management team and they will be only too delighted to pass on to their staff (I'm sure we will be able to locate Pete)

Hi This wasn’t at Chorley Hospital it was Royal Preston. Please can you change it to say Preston please?
