"The removal of my kidney"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital / Urology

(as a service user),

I had a robotic benign nephrectomy in April carried out by Mr M Thomas, I could not have wished for better treatment during my stay in Hospital. The cause of the kidney failure was a kidney stone

Mr Thomas spoke to me before the operation which made me feel at ease, he also came to see me after the operation to say that all was well. I spent two nights in The I.C.Unit which I felt was the N.H.S. at its best, I was looked after by such a dedicated team, thank you all.
