We are normally under Liphook Surgery and needed some urgent prescriptions prior to going on holiday. As Liphook had failed to authorise them in time causing a panic as my wife is a diabetic on insulin. We contacted Petersfield surgery for assistance. The receptionist was most helpful and put me through to the pharmacist. He was extremely helpful and understood the dilemma. He immediately took all the details and checked the system. He contacted the Liphook pharmacy and arranged all of the items for collection that day. We are most grateful for his help and only wish Liphook surgery had been as helpful.

Thank you so much for your review, we are pleased to hear that you spoke to our Pharmacist directly.

This is a fairly new role within the Medical Group and, in situations like yours, he is invaluable in sorting our complicated situations regarding prescriptions and medications.

We have initiated a new telephone hub system since your comment, this has meant extensive training for the reception teams as well as having a supervisor within the hub who can respond and advise on complicated cases.

The aim of the hub is not only to answer calls quickly and efficiently but to ensure that all reception staff are trained to deal with and divert calls in the same way across both sites.

Please do review again, we would like to hear your future experiences and hope they continue to improve.
