"Complete lack of help, they put my family into..."

I received a bill from my hospital for £1700 for my pregnancy "overseas patient" appointments with standard formula that I may be deported if I fail to pay in 30 days. My baby is due in 3 weeks from now so I do not have to say how I felt. I am in UK now more that 5 years and I have full right to stay. I also had a constant employment and paid all ni contributions.

I back track the problem to problem with my "NHS number" I am still young so I sign to GP two years ago. I find out that since then St James failed to create my NHS number and hospital things I am some kind of fraudster.

I thought okay easy I will juts go to GP and ask them to finally do it.

In GP receptionist was clueless and practice manager ignored me and said this is my problem. All NHS sources says that GP is responsible to creating an NHS number.

On top of that GP never cared about my pregnancy. When I came for check they said what's the point?

My husband had two appointments and they where useless as well.

I will be changing a GP asap. I asked them for proof that I am in their books and they want £20 pounds for that and I have to wait a week or two...

Please avoid at all cost.
