"The worst health practice in birmingham."

About: Hall Green Health

It's a disgrace that I am told that to put 1 new medicine and 1 new dressing on my repeat prescription I will have to come into the surgery in person because they will not do it over the phone.

I would be able to do that if I wasn't in a wheelchair and on kidney dialysis but that doesn't matter to them even though my prescriptions are collected and delivered to me because of my disabilities.

That didn't matter to the female on the phone and she would not put me through to the supervisior, I wonder what kind of training if any she has taken.

Dear Patient,

First of all may apologise for the experience you have encountered when speaking to one of our receptionists.

Can I suggest that if you have not already registered with online access that you do so. This will enable you toorder your medication via the website.

Our Receptionists are unable to take repeat prescriptions request over the phone for safety reasons. This is the same procedure across the country at all GP practices.

Please contact the surgery and ask to speak to me and I will be more than happy to assist you by making the process easier for you to request your medication.

Regards Andi Jones
