I was enduced on Wednesday the 4th of July due to reduced movement and the care myself and my partner received was outstanding.
The midwifes really cared and made us feel at home over our 2 night stay. All were very attentive, caring, and knowledgeable and did their utmost to make us comfortable. Special thanks to two midwifes on Nettleham and three on maternity ward.
The doctor was especially knowledgeable and was very reassuring when it came to providing assistance during the birth. I feel she made it very much easier and foresaw any issues before they arose. After she spent time to explain what had happened in detail and answer any questions.
Midwives gave myself and my partner plenty of space following the birth alone with our baby but we're on hand with advice and support when we needed it.
Facilities in the birthing suit were very good and helped me remain calm and comfortable. Staff were very good at explaining pros and cons of any treatments offered and helped us make our decisions.
Area around beds were private and my partner was able to remain with me for the entire labour birth and recover.
"Excellent Maternity ward"
