I have just been to see a member of the endocrinology team. I have a problem with my thyroid and was just looking to be treated with a little dignity and listened to.
Alas no. None of my concerns were listened to. Far from it I received a 5 minute diatribe on how poor the IT systems were. I had to prompt to get s correct diagnosis of Hashimotos (I had an extremely high antibody reading).
All this “doctor” wanted to do was increase my medication despite telling me a 6 week old blood test was out of date and me telling them my symptoms had improved.
I have asked to be referred to a different endocrinology unit I would not go back here.
"Very poor"
