I just wanted to say a big thank you, and how impressed I was given to my husband at MRI A&E on Saturday 7th July. Staff were kind, patient, and caring, in an obviously very busy shift. In particular I would like to highlight the Dr, his warmth, humour, and diligence in checking my husbands records really helped to calm us in a stressful situation. Please pass on our compliments to him and the rest of the team. The staff in AMU where he stayed the night were also 1st class, please give them a pat on the back too.

Thank you for your positive comment posted on the NHS Choices website regarding the care and treatment your husband received from the Accident and Emergency Department as well as from the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) of the Manchester Royal Infirmary. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication.

We were pleased to read that your husband was cared and treated well whilst in A&E and then later in AMU. We can assure you that we have forwarded your kind comments to the Head of Nursing for the Division of Medicine so that it can be shared with the wider teams of the A&E Department and the AMU.
