"a good experience after a bad incident"

About: Gravesham Community Hospital

After an argument with an electric saw, I had to visit the minor injury unit. When I arrived the receptionist was taking some details when I started feeling faint. She called a nurse and they took me straight through to the cubicles, where the nurse made me comfortable and got me a drink. I was then seen by the nurse practitioner who inspected cleaned and dressed the wound. I cannot praise the staff enough, from the receptionist to the nurse, who's name I have forgotten. and the nurse practitioner. I felt like I was in safe hands and was well treated and looked after from start to finish. And as I said before I cannot praise the staff enough, I was made to stay in the chair until I felt well enough to walk, there was no trying to rush you out despite how many people were in reception. Thank you all

Dear Tracy

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience of care at Gravesham Minor Injuries Unit. It is good to know that you were well looked after throughout your visit and that all the staff made you feel at ease and did everything they could to meet your needs. We will pass on your kind comments to the team there. We hope you are feeling much better now.

Best wishes
