"Dickens Ward"

I had a full knee replacement on 3rd July and cannot praise the doctors, nurses, HCAs and catering staff enough. The staff were kind, empathetic, attentive and made me feel very relaxed. I was an inpatient with some very lovely ladies who even at 2.30am were able to laugh at being awake. The nursing staff also joined in and made us laugh a lot which made being away from home slightly more bearable. The food was the best I'd ever had in a hospital and the catering company should be commended for it. All the staff from cleaners to consultants did and do a fabulous job and should I ever have to have surgery again I would want to go back to Sickens ward. If it was a hotel it would 5* quality. Thanks to everyone involved in my recovery you're simply the best.
