"Unexpected visit to A&E"

I had an unexpected visit to A&E today, that then led to a visit to theatre for badly infected abyss removal.

I arrived at 7am and was very quickly seen, each stage progressed efficiently, with very mild (expected) waiting time. I was home and back resting by 4pm!

Above all, from the moment I arrived, from the receptionist, to the triage nurses, the Anaesthetists, the surgeons, the recovery nurses, to all the discharge staff - who were all equally exceptional and made my whole experience very comfortable.

I have to admit, I was extremely nervous and to be honest hadn’t heard great reviews about this particular hospital, but down to the staff - have excelled my expectations! I cannot praise them enough!
