About: Macclesfield District General Hospital / Maternity care

I attended the maternity department at around 1am, I wasn’t booked in at this hospital as I am out of area. My local hospital diverted me as they were full.

Everyone that dealt with me from the time I got here till the time I was discharged were friendly, professional and put me at ease despite the emergency situation I attended with.

I have received lots of useful information to support me while breastfeeding and have appreciated all the time people have took to go through things as if it was my first time even though I have an older child.

Please pass my appreciation on to your team they are a credit to your hospital and the NHS
