I originally had an appointment to have a corn on my toe and a callus on the sole of my foot treated in May but this was cancelled for some reason and I was given an appointment for last week. At one time I was seen every 4 weeks as I have a few problems with my mobility and having my feet in good order helps to keep me more mobile.
I'm afraid I cannot remember the name of the young lady who treated me but She was very good, very thorough and helpful. I have had podiatry treatment for many years and they have all been very helpful. She had to spend quite a bit of time removing the corn on the top of my toe and explained that this was affecting my gait and causing a callus on the sole, which she also treated. I explained my predicament with getting appointments, often they can be eight weeks or so apart and this is too long as it does make it more uncomfortable for me to get around.
I'm very grateful, not just for the treatment but also for the fact that the young lady made another appointment for me to have further treatment in six weeks, this is so helpful and reassuring.
"Long awaited podiatry care"
