With an alarming swelling on my neck that was painful, but I remained otherwise asymptomatic, I started to get worried.
I turned up at 7.45am last Sunday and was triaged by the nurse immediately.
She decided I should see the doctor so I went back to waiting room and was called before I could sit down.
He was extremely thorough in his examination and questioning and I did not feel as if I was wasting his time at all.
He recommended a blood test and sent me back out to wait for it to be taken by nurse.
He did prescribe penicillin for me after he was certain it was an infection causing the gland to swell, so definitely didn't feel robbed off.
Called for blood test straight away and was out again.
45 mins total.
Dropped blood to hospital, got medicine and I am now completely better and I haven't had to worry about spreading whatever it might have been to my elderly parents.
Please thank those wonderful staff they were amazing and I seriously appreciate this service.
"Refreshingly fabulous!"
