(as a service user),

I developed an extremely painful infection and allergic reaction after getting bitten by mosquitos on holiday. I phoned the Torry Medical Practice GP and the Practice Nurse fitted me in at quarter to 5 in the evening. Capable, astute professional and really warm in manner. Spotted my infection and allergy symptoms and gave me the medicines I needed. I'm feeling so much better today and my infection is resolving. Thank goodness we have Nurse's like that.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Itchyscratchy. Mosquito bites are just the worst – especially when painful, allergic reactions accompany them.

I’ll make sure your story is passed to the practice nurses at Torry today, so they can see how much you appreciated them making time to see you when you needed it, and that their warm and professional manner made a difference to your visit.

Hopefully it won’t be long before the bites disappear completely.
