My mother was admitted to Abbey Ward late one Saturday evening after going to Accident and Emergency by Ambulance. Following that she was admitted to Abbey Ward and two days later to Mere ward where she remained for 10 days. Throughout this time she was treated with respect, kindness and a high standard of clinical care.
Following the fitting of a catheter and after her discharge she returned to meet with a staff member for advice and help. The way in which she helped my mother to adapt to this new phase of her medical life was outstanding. I must thank her.
Mum is home alone again and with our help enjoying a full life.Thanks to the whole team.
