I chose to have my first baby at West Middlesex Hospital as I had previously suffered from miscarriages. The service I received at St Peters during this time was so awful that it led me to put a formal complaint in.
However when I suffered my third miscarriage and St Peters started to investigate it and I finally got pregnant again there are no words to discribe how amazing they have been.
I was on a lot of medication to keep the baby and I was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes and I cannot fault how well the departments worked together and even contacting me out of hours to make sure the care and medication I needed was ok.
I was very nervous about being induced and having my baby at St Peters due to the history I had with them but I cannot fault the process and care I received. They looked after me and my husband extremely well and after a mix up with going home they even offered us a private room for the night.
St Peters have turned their service around and I would not hesitate to recommend their maternity unit to friends and family.
