"NO RESPONSE"

My son referred himself to Wellbeing in March 2018 and hasn't heard a thing since !!! They sent a letter outlining it was changing hands and we would be kept up to date every 4 weeks. We didnt hear anything for at least 6 weeks so after my husband made calls we were told we would be kept informed BUT to date nothing!! All they did at the beginning, when my husband complained to the Commission dealing with this organisation,is give him reduced price entry to Inspire for physical activity. Although this is a good thing the staff dealing with him have let him down and never come back to him!! Everytime we ring it goes straight to a voicemail, we leave a message and NOBODY has even had the decency to call back.

Considering this service is to help people feeling vulnerable and needing help it is having the adverse effect!!!

I cannot believe how they can treat the the people they are set up to help in the worst way possible!

I am so sorry that you have had such a frustrating time trying to get help for your son. As you say, a new organisation Turning Point have taken over the service, calling it Total Wellbeing Luton. I don't know which number you have been calling but I have just called their number: 0300 555 4152 and it was answered straightaway by a human! They said there is someone to answer calls from 9am to 5pm. If all the lines are busy, they say it will go to a message service. But that they check this throughout the day. Posts on NHS Choices are anonymised so we or they cannot call you as we don't see your contact details on this site. They urge you or your son to call them on the above number so that they can make an appointment and get him back on track.
