"Patronising member of staff"

Regrettably, I was passed to a receptionists "colleague "today when returning a missed call from the surgery.Apparently my yearly diabetic blood test was borderline but I have to wait 2 weeks to find out more as it's not 'urgent 'my husband was treated at this surgery recently for "sciatica" 'and spoke to the very same woman asking for an appointment because of unbearable pain ,she was equally condescending with him offering an appointment 16 days later .He died 4 months after that from stage 4 kidney cancer ,PERHAPS that's why I told her I was stressing about my results !,although strangely ,she assured me mine was only routine also (after telling me she couldn't read the results! )
