"Poorly managed"

About: Weston Area Health NHS Trust

The outpatient departments are all well run and well staffed. The nursing and radiography staff in particular are all well skilled and very helpful. The same cannot be said of the junior doctors who seem to know little and care less, a few training sessions in empathy and actually listening to the patients would not go amiss, they lack awareness in keeping the patient informed. The few senior level medical staff I have encountered many of which have clearly trained abroad are in fact all excellent but very much let down by the very junior levels of their teams, try asking a junior doctor for information and see if they know enough about your case to give you an answer. Please remember you are meant to be putting the patient first.
